Continually producing good, engaging content is difficult. If you’re like many B2B marketers, one of your biggest challenges is trying to keep up with the rigors of content creation, day in and day out. You’re not alone in this endeavor and here are some easy things you can implement to help overcome this challenge.
Though many times you need different types of content in the middle of the sales cycle to customize it for your particular needs or specific client, much of the content at the beginning and the end can be repurposed. Reuse content that is already done so you’re not recreating it over and over again. This seems intuitive, but often is overlooked causing individuals to work harder than they have to.
Curate content for your content marketing purposes. Taking existing content and redistributing it isn’t plagiarism if done correctly. You’re simply using (and providing credit to) those that have blazed this trail before you. Information, whether created and developed by you or by someone else, is still valuable information your customer or client will appreciate.
Lastly, try to create content with lasting appeal. Not always is more the answer. If you can use the same information for months at a time or years even, go for it. As long as it’s relative and meaningful, why not get the most out of it and use it for as long as possible.
If you’re having difficulty in keeping up with your content creation and content marketing initiatives, try implementing these easy to follow tips and suggestions. You just might find that they can keep you on track, ahead of the game and motivated to move forward.
