Call it what you like: SEO, E-Marketing,
Internet Marketing, Social Media Marketing, online marketing, etc… it’s
essentially the same thing. Companies, like GoLeads, use keywords, keyword phrases, content, distribution and placement to improve clients’ visibility on the Web. However, not all companies provide the same Internet marketing service,
SEO work or quality content. It’s vital, if you do outsource Social
media marketing or SEO work that you choose your company carefully.
Here’s some stuff to consider when looking for an SEO company or
e-marketing firm:
- Do you advertise in your company’s primary language, like English,
Spanish, German, etc…? If you hire an online marketing company who uses
writers with a different primary language, their vocabulary may not
match your company’s “voice.” A writer or team of writers
who do not have your language as their first language may,
unintentionally, drive away your audience with poor grammar or misused
words.
- Does the SEO provider have
an in-house technical department or team? This enables them to monitor
the progress of their efforts, provide support to clients and
trouble-shoot any technical issues as they occur, not days or weeks
after the fact.
- How do you want your company portrayed? Professional, top-notch, quality services/quality products? If you hire an outside Internet marketing company to provide blog posts or social media content, be wary of one who does not use professional writers.
If they just use their in-house marketing department or outsource the
writing to writers who’ve never worked with deadlines, developing
stories, leads, editing or managing multiple projects, the writing is
going be all over the board. Your content will NOT be custom, consistent
or catchy enough to gain and maintain an audience. People will not
consider your business professional if your online content is not well
written, error free and engaging.
Do some research and ask questions when searching for a company to provide SEO, E-Marketing, social media marketing, online marketing, etc… Don’t hire unless you know they will represent your company as well as you do!
